Your safari begins with a warm welcome in Nairobi by your driver-guide. After a short briefing, depart by road towards Hell’s Gate National Park near Lake Naivasha - a journey of about 2.5 hours through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, opt for a guided biking or walking safari (optional, at an extra cost) inside the park, a rare opportunity in East Africa. Cycle
past towering cliffs, rugged gorges, geothermal hot springs, and plains dotted with zebras, gazelles, and buffaloes. The dramatic landscapes inspired Disney’s The Lion King. As the sun sets, return to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
Enjoy a full day in the area. After breakfast, continue exploring Hell’s Gate - this time by foot or bike to visit Fischer’s Tower, the Central Tower, and the Ol Njorowa Gorge. Learn about the area's volcanic history and geothermal energy. Later, head to nearby Lake Naivasha for a peaceful boat ride among hippos and aquatic birds, or visit Crescent Island for a walking safari (both optional, at an extra cost) among giraffes,
zebras, and wildebeests. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or tented camp.
Have an early breakfast and check out. Then, you'll depart for Masai Mara via Narok to arrive in time for check-in and lunch. Relax in your room before heading out for an afternoon game-viewing drive. Here, you will enjoy the views of the Mara savannah, wildlife and sunset.
Then, you will head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Spend a full day game viewing in the renowned "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World," the Masai Mara. This area is famous for its large herds of plains game, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions, as well as numerous elephants and nearly every other type of wildlife found in Kenya.
You will embark on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
For lunch, enjoy a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah while watching animals graze nearby. Afterward, continue your game viewing on the way back to your camp, arriving in the late afternoon after thoroughly exploring this vast grassland savannah that spans
1,500 square kilometers. Additionally, you have the option to book a hot air balloon ride that takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew will assist you out of the basket and escort you to a beautiful setting for a bush breakfast. This experience is unforgettable and well worth the price.
You will return at sunset to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Today, prepare for a long but breathtaking drive to the Isebania border post, which separates Kenya and Tanzania. After completing the border immigration process, you will switch vehicles and meet your Tanzanian guide. He will welcome you and take you to the expansive Serengeti
National Park in Tanzania, with lunch served en route.
You will arrive at the camp late in the afternoon, so keep an eye out for the millions of animals that inhabit this area during the drive. Tonight, you will enjoy an authentic African safari experience, as the lodge is situated within the national park and in the midst of all the animal activity. Upon arrival, your driver and the camp manager will provide you with a safety briefing. You will return at sunset to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up to another beautiful day in the Serengeti. Start your morning with an early game drive to see the animals in their most active state. After the game drive, head back to the Lodge to enjoy a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
During the hottest part of the day, take a break to relax in the camp by reading your favorite book, writing about your safari experience in your journal, or simply listening to music while observing the birds. Don't worry, the animals will also be taking a break from the heat. Later in the afternoon, go for another game drive through the park. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and another night under the beautiful Serengeti sky.
You will return at sunset to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
You will have an early breakfast at 6:00 am and then go for a final game drive through the Serengeti as you exit the park. After that, you will depart for Ngorongoro with picnic lunches.
Once you arrive, you will descend into the crater floor for a half-day crater tour. The crater is approximately 20 km/12 miles wide and 600 m/2,000 ft deep, and there are only two roads that connect the crater rim with the crater floor, one for driving down and another for driving up. It takes about 45 minutes to descend to the crater floor from the top of the caldera. The floor is home to a rich and highly concentrated wildlife population, around 20,000 mammals of varying sizes, including approximately 20 black rhinos.
This makes the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these animals. The animals in this area are less wary of humans and vehicles, making it easier to observe them up close. You can watch them as they roam the lakes, rivers, woodlands, and hills. Exit the crater to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast this morning, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park, with a short break at the famous Mto wa Mbu village (Optional). In Mto wa Mbu, you can either ride on a tuk-tuk or walk through the rice fields, observing the locals as they go about their daily activities. Along the way, you will have the chance to sample local banana beer and interact with the villagers.
You will then continue your journey to Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on your first game drive to explore this beautiful park, which has the second-highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, following the Serengeti. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. You also have the option to extend your safari with a visit to the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar or to return to Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
