6-Day Amboseli-Mara Fly In Safari

Following breakfast, set out for an extensive, full-day game drive across Amboseli's unique habitats. The park’s relatively open terrain makes it an exceptional destination for spotting lions, cheetahs, zebras, and spotted hyenas.

Return to the lodge at midday for a delicious lunch and a brief rest during the heat of the day. In the afternoon, venture back into the reserve to explore the lush, permanent swamps fed by underground glacial melt from Kilimanjaro. After an early breakfast, check out and take a short transfer to the Amboseli airstrip for your scheduled flight to the world-renowned Masai Mara. Touch down at the Mara Serena Airstrip, where your expert guide will welcome you and transfer you to the Serena Safari Lodge, beautifully perched high on a hill overlooking the Mara Triangle.

Check in, enjoy a premium lunch, and take in the panoramic valley views. In the afternoon, head out for a thrilling game drive across the savannah to start tracking the Big Five. Return to the lodge for dinner surrounded by the evening sounds of the bush.

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a classic, full-day game drive through the Masai Mara with packed picnic lunch boxes. This dedicated day allows you to venture deeper into the reserve to track apex predators on the hunt and explore riverine forests.

Stop at midday to enjoy an unforgettable picnic lunch right in the middle of the open Mara plains. Continue tracking wildlife until approximately 6:00 PM. If your visit falls between July and October, your guide will head toward the Mara River loop where you might witness the dramatic Great Migration river crossings. Return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner.

Savor your final safari breakfast before checking out of the lodge to begin your overland drive back to Nairobi. En route, make a brief stop at the famous Great Rift Valley viewpoint to stretch your legs, take in the breathtaking escarpment vistas, and take some final photos.

Arrive in Nairobi by afternoon, where your driver will smoothly assist you with your transfer to your hotel or directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight home.
