Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu (Flight + Afternoon Game Drive)

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Wilson Airport in Nairobi, soaring over central Kenya before landing at the Samburu airstrip 1.5 hours later. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your luxury safari lodge or camp for check-in and a refreshing lunch.

After a short rest, embark on your first game drive across the dramatic semi-arid plains. Keep your eyes peeled for the region's famous "Samburu Special Five"—including the towering reticulated giraffe and the gravity-defying gerenuk. As the sun sets over the red-dirt landscapes, return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening under the stars.

Day 2: Full Day In Samburu – Game Drives & Cultural Visit

Wake up early for a morning game drive, tracking predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs while they are most active. After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, you can choose to lounge by the pool or take part in an insightful cultural visit to a nearby Samburu village to learn about their ancient customs and rich heritage.

In the afternoon, set out on another game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River. This vital water source attracts massive herds of elephants, bathing buffaloes, and thirsty big cats. End the day with optional bush sundowners before returning to the lodge for a spectacular candlelit dinner.

Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi (Early Morning Game Drive + Scenic Flight)

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge or set out for one last early morning game drive to catch the sunrise over the spectacular Matthews Range. After checking out, your driver will transfer you to the airstrip for your return scenic flight to Nairobi. Arriving at Wilson Airport, you will connect to your onward journey or transfer back to your residence, carrying unforgettable memories of Samburu.
