Day 2: Transfer To Nyungwe Via King's Palace Museum
After breakfast, depart Kigali for a scenic 5-hour drive to Nyungwe National Park. En route, stop in Nyanza to explore the King’s Palace Museum. Tour the beautifully reconstructed traditional royal residence, delve into Rwanda’s monarchy, and encounter the sacred, long-horned Inyambo cattle. Continue your journey to arrive at Ken Barham Guest House by late afternoon to relax within the forest's embrace.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking In Nyungwe & Transfer To Lake Kivu
Rise early for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Next, embark on a 2-to-4-hour trek through dense rainforest trails with expert trackers. Spend an unforgettable hour observing wild chimpanzees swinging through the high canopy and foraging. Return by midday, refresh, and take a 3-hour drive to Lake Kivu in Kibuye. Check into the lakeside Cormoran Lodge to watch a stunning sunset over the water.

Day 4: Boat Trip To Napoleon Island & Transfer To Volcanoes National Park
