hotel for lunch and enjoy a free afternoon, either watching the birds from your room balcony or
relaxing by the swimming pool.
The boat rides on Lake Naivasha, combined with the walking safari, offer refreshing experiences
as you glide across the breezy waters and explore the diverse birdlife and wildlife that surround
the lake. The nature walk on the island provides an excellent opportunity to appreciate nature
up close while walking alongside various animals.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge
After breakfast, you will embark on your first early morning game drive. Despite the early start, morning game drives are incredibly rewarding, as animals are often most active during this time. Lake Nakuru is home to a variety of wildlife, including flamingos, black and white rhinos,
lions, leopards, buffalo, and the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. The southern end of the lake offers the best opportunities for observing these animals.
Following the game drive, you will exit the park with picnic lunch boxes to enjoy on your way to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your journey will take you through the Rift Valley floor, and upon arrival at the Mara, you will be welcomed by Maasai warriors who will guide you on a cultural walking safari. This includes a visit to a Maasai village, where you can learn more about a community that has coexisted with Mara wildlife for centuries. You will return at sunset to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

For lunch, enjoy a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah while watching animals graze nearby. Afterward, continue your game viewing on the way back to your camp, arriving in the late afternoon after thoroughly exploring this vast grassland savannah that spans
1,500 square kilometers. Additionally, you have the option to book a hot air balloon ride that takes off early in the morning. The crater is approximately 20 km/12 miles wide and 600 m/2,000 ft deep, and there are only two roads that connect the crater rim with the crater floor, one for driving down and another for driving up. It takes about 45 minutes to descend to the crater floor from the top of the caldera. The floor is home to a rich and highly concentrated wildlife population, around 20,000 mammals of varying sizes, including approximately 20 black rhinos.
This makes the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these animals. The animals in this area are less wary of humans and vehicles, making it easier to observe them up close. You can watch them as they roam the lakes, rivers, woodlands, and hills. Exit the crater to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
